Kaleidoscopic Ball v.2
(2009)
The second vesion of Kaleidoscopic Ball recalls our childhood memories. We shake kaleidoscope to move bits of color papers in it, making our eyes stay in a small hole for the dazzling patterns. In this reproduced kaleidoscopic Ball, self-image through web-camera inside of a movable clear ball is transformed visually and audibly by playing it.

Bubble Talk v.2 (2009)
Bubble Talk v.2 is the reproduction of Bubble Talk v.1. If a viewer talks, sings or yells with a microphone, the different pitches of his or her voices generate a number of bubbles. The audible voices of viewers are transformed into the optical, tactile bubbles. This bring them a new enjoyable way of communications. |

Vocal Trio (2008)
It consists of three instruments, “Pipe horn”, Water bell” and “Leaf flute”. Singing and speaking with a microphone installed in them, vocal tone is changed to a specific instrument’s sound as its scale and tempo are kept. Horn-shaped pipe, Pipe horn has deep and low toned horn sounds. Water bell like a water drop has clear bell sounds. Leaf flute like a leaf has reed sounds. |

Sonic Puzzle (2007)
Sonic Puzzle is presented at 2007 Knowledge world Forum as a co-operation with the company, Media front. It unites new technologies and old-fashioned way of playing a kaleidoscope exploring a possibility that a media artwork can be a commercial product.

Bubble Talk v.1 (working in progress)
In Bubble Talk, two persons talk through bubbles instead of a verbal conversation. There are two separate rooms divided by a clear glass. Two viewers are in each room and can see each other through a clear glass. If a viewer talks, sings or yells with a microphone, the different pitches of his or her voices generate a number of bubbles in another room. |

IndiCell (2005)
IndiCell, an interactive installation consists of sixsuspended spheres. Each of them works by viewer’s movement and light source. It is a reproduction of the biological human cloning system simplified and transformed to machinery mechanism, which implies the breakdown of the traditional family lineage in digital era.

Trans v.2 (2003)
Trans v.02 is a simple toy project. The different amplitude of voices through a microphone generates bubbles. The movement of breathing air in our lung to talk and sing is transformed into visible bubbles. A micro controller with the numeric data of voice’s amplitute converted by Max/Msp controls the motor’s speed of a bubble machine. People can enjoy to compare their breathing capacity |

Trans v.1 (2003)
Trans v.01 suggests invisible but audible imaginations of the wind. The poles with flexible sensors are located in various locations in downtown of Chicago. By the data of intensities of the wind in each loaction harmonize sounds by the customized programming. |

UniCos (2005)
a video installation consists of three single channel videos projected on curved screens. The images of water, fire, and soil are manipulated. Water represents bodily fluids. Fire represents the bodily energies. Soil represents the physical substance of a man's body. The fourth element, wind, coming from a fan in the ceiling, represents a soul. UniCos leads viewers to walk through the curved screens and experience this artificial environment with the natural images. |
